Get into golf with our Birdie Basics programming!
Birdie Basics is the most effective program to get young children excited about the game of golf. Created by Kate Tempesta, an early childhood education specialist and LPGA teaching professional, Birdie Basics has taught thousands of children ages 3-6 since 2010. Through a story-driven, child-centered approach, Birdie Basics creates deep and engaging learning environments for children.
Coach Kevin Landry, a former educator and PGA Golf professional, will team up with his daughter to teach Birdie Basics. Sophie Landry is a 1st grade teacher with a degree in early childhood education. Our combined expertise will enhance your child’s introduction to the game of golf.
This is a perfect entry point for our young golfers which will allow them to develop a passion for the sport and work their way right into our Operation 36 Program to continue their journey.

Operation 36 in ACTION
As a former educator, I know the importance of curriculum and a
long-term plan for development. That is why I have signed on with Operation 36 and Birdie Basics. This program is designed to teach the specific skills necessary for every stage of development and it gets beginning golfers PLAYING GOLF on the golf course right from the start of the program.
Let me help your child experience PLAYING GOLF and learning the game the correct way.
