About Kevin Landry
My Story
My love affair with golf started at the age of 9 when my uncle gave me a cut down 4-wood. At the age of 20 I gave myself an eight month goal to become a scratch golfer before turning 21 and I have been a scratch golfer ever since. I have spent years reading, experimenting, practicing and learning this game. I have had great golf instructors and mentors that have furthered my knowledge of the game and I want to help you enjoy the game that I love.
As an educator and coach for 30 years, I know how to teach complex skills and subjects. I use technology and experience to help diagnose the problem and simple explanations and feels to get my students to understand their golf swing and the game of golf. I am a believer that impact is the most important part of the swing and I will find a way to match your strengths to swing mechanics that produce consistent impact results. I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all swing for golf. Just look at the PGA tour. I do believe there is an efficient swing for every golfer that must be achieved to create consistent ball contact.
Let me take my passion for teaching and golf and help you improve your game.
